Camp Bernie

​​​​​HPEF is a long-time supporter of the annual 5th grade trip to Camp Bernie, subsidizing approximately half of the cost. Students take a three-day, two-night trip to an environmental education center in western New Jersey. There they spend educational and fun-filled days exploring nature, understanding our impact on the Earth, and team building. For many of our students it is their first time in the country and the first time away from their families! Students return richer in both knowledge and maturity.
